Topic 1: Why study English?
At British Hills we are lucky to have many Japanese staff members who are excellent English speakers. Listen to our host James as he interviews some of them about learning and speaking English. Some of the questions covered include: why study English, how has has it helped throughout their lives and what is some good advice for studying and getting better at English.
Yukari

Yukari was a key member of our tearoom, The Ascot. She spent some time living abroad including the UK. Besides being very knowledgeable about tea, she also had some good advice for people who want to study English.

Yuta

Yuta is one of the pillars of the Falstaff Pub. He knows just about everything about the Falstaff Pub so feel free to ask him about some of the unique features of our pub. He recently made a trip to the UK where he had to put his English skills to the test. In this episode, he tells James about his experiences learning English.
