Donovan is an island farm-kid from very small town on a medium-sized island off the coast of Western Canada. It is a place that is part of the largest temperate rainforest in the world where it rains for more than 160 days a year!

They are an intensely curious person who has many interests. They enjoy exploring new places, martial arts, creative writing, photography, PC gaming, and watching movies and shows in different languages. Donovan began to study various medieval styles of sword and weapons fighting as a teenager, something they still do to this day.

They formally studied acting and voice acting after high school and sang as a baritone in a classical choir for six years. In 2016, Donovan moved to Sapporo City where they worked full time as an assistant instructor at a municipal high school.
They also have since completed a graduate degree in Creative Writing.

As for their future, Donovan will work towards adding to their advanced education, obtaining permanent residence in Japan, opening their own café, and one day buying an abandoned home where they will write and live quietly with several cats.
