Newfoundland and Labrador is the easternmost province in Canada. The capital, St. John’s, is one of the oldest cities in North America. The province has 4 UNESCO world heritage sites, including Gros Morne National park, an area of incredible geographic features. Quebec City is the capital city of Quebec, where French is the main language (bonjour). Quebec City is the only walled city in Canada and America and is a UNESCO world heritage site. There are also many beautiful historical buildings. And in the winter, the city has outdoor ice skating rinks and sledding. Kluane National Park is a massive park in the northeast of Canada. The park has the tallest mountain in Canada, Mt. Logan. The park was declared a UNESCO site because of its glaciers and ice field landscapes. Many people visit to go hiking, mountain climbing, camping and to see the Northern lights or aurora borealis. |
