Hi, I’m Eve. I’m from Johannesburg, South Africa. I’ve lived in Japan for a year and a half.
Before moving to Fukushima I taught English at an international high school in Nara. So far I have visited 12 prefectures in Japan, however, my favourite has been Hiroshima.

My interests include travel, baking, watching series/movies, illustration and watercolour painting. I also really enjoy adventure sports such as bungee jumping, scuba diving, parasailing, skydiving and quad biking. I recently went quad biking in the Namib Desert and skydiving in South Africa!

One of my favourite travel memories was getting my PADI license in Bali and doing my first dive on Christmas day 2017.

I’ve spent the last few years ticking things off my bucket list. It’s been a crazy ride but I’ve loved every new adventure.

I also want to learn to play the guitar this year, so if you have any tips please share them with me!
