I was born in Australia in the 1960’s. However, I spent my early years in Papua New Guinea until I returned to Australia to complete high school and then enroll at Griffith University.
Before arriving in Japan in 2001, I worked in various positions such as being a comic book publisher/editor, second-hand bookstore owner and pantry chef. I have worked as an English teacher in Osaka city, Koriyama, Aizu-Wakamatsu, Ishinomaki, Chiba city, Kurihama and, for the last 3 years, British Hills. Besides loving to meet Japanese people, I spend my free time travelling Japan, watching festivals and visiting historical sites such as castles. My proudest achievement in Japan so far is completing the 88 temple walk around Shikoku. |
